VIP BUS TO CHIANG RAI
It's still Songkran so we are advised to leave early for the bus station but we get a tuk tuk easily and reach the station by 8.45 and bus not till 10.15 and it's so hot but have my kindle so time goes fairly quickly. Bus is fantastic, reclining seats, aircon, bottle of water and cake £5 each not bad tor a 3 hour journey.
Hotel lalunaresortchiangrai.com is really lovely our bungalow is a huge room with a bed that must be 7ft, there is a big pool with lots of sunbeds.
Get tuk tuk to night market for just over £1 and have big plate of prawn and vegetable tempura for £1 and a hot pot on our table with amazing vegetables and fish that you cook yourself for £2 meal with drinks for 2 £4. Shopping looks good will need some time to browse without Jim!!
