LAST FULL DAY AT THE REUNKANOK HOTEL HUA HIN
After our walk and another wonderful breakfast of eggs Benedict cooked perfectly we head off to do some last minute shopping and I manage to catch the bus back on my own-this is trickier than it sounds as there are no stops, so first you have to get the bus (a metal kid of truck where you stand on the back if it is full up) to stop old school by putting your hand out and then you have to ring the bell when you want to get off. As I had relied on Jim to do this and he loved ringing the bell I was quite chuffed when I managed to get off at our hotel and did not end up whizzing past. This journey costs about 30p and you can go miles just paying the driver when you get off.
Make the most of the pool in the afternoon and then eat at our hotel. After a roti wrap starter and green currys we have just enough space left to visit the wonderful ice cream shop opposite our hotel. For some reason although I have had ice cream from here on 3 of the 4 nights I have forgotten to mention this cute little shop. It is called Pengu Ice and is owned by a French couple who make the ice cream and it is delicious, we met the owners and enjoyed chatting to them about their fairly new venture.
Do most of our packing as we leave in the morning cannot believe we have been away for 4 months.
